Case Study: In re Estate of Frank

This case study looks at the application of the rules of redemption to a fairly complex estate. The decedent had transferred a property interest before will was executed, and when the remaining interest in the property was transferred to him, he summarily transferred it to a foundation. The potential beneficiaries of this estate fought out the timelines and effects of the rules of will construction and ademption.
