Case Study: United States v. Drame

This case Looks at when citizenship gained through naturalization can be revoked when it is determined that the person lied during the immigration and naturalization process. The case study looks at the path taken by the defendant in this case from asylum to lawful permanent residence through naturalization, and how it was all undone when it was determined that the applicant defrauded the government during the application. It also goes through various defenses put forth by the applicant and discusses why they were rejected by the court.
